You might be nearsighted if you easily can see things up close but have trouble seeing things that are far away, like the chalkboard when you sit in the back of the classroom.
Being nearsighted is the opposite of being farsighted, which is the ability to see things far away. But don't worry, nearsightedness is nothing a pair of glasses won't fix!
