El equipo médico irá apretando el silo progresivamente a medida de los intestinos vayan recuperando su tamaño normal. Volver a introducir los intestinos de nuevo en el vientre del bebé usando un silo es algo que suele requerir de 3 a 4 días, aunque este proceso se puede alargar más.
