Pronounced: ROSE-ee-oh-la. Roseola is a sickness that\'s caused by a virus that usually affects babies and kids younger than 2 years old. Kids with roseola get a high fever for a couple of days to a week. When the fever goes away they get a pinkish-red rash on their belly and chest. Another name for roseola is sixth disease.
