Lyme disease is an
infection caused by a bacteria found in animals like deer and mice. Ticks love to
suck blood and feed on these animals, then infect people through tick

a red circular rash (often called a bulls-eye rash) around the tick bite. If treated
with antibiotics early, Lyme disease symptoms usually will go away. The best way to
prevent Lyme disease is to prevent tick bites.
