Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Note: This high-calorie recipe is especially for kids and teens with cystic fibrosis (CF), who may need additional calories to meet their nutritional needs.
Smoothies are a great way to add extra calories and protein to your diet.
Prep time: 10 minutes
What you need:
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 banana
- 1-1/4 cups strawberries (fresh or frozen)
- 3/4 cup lemon sherbet
- 2 tablespoons dry skim milk powder
What to do:
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.

- 432 calories
- 8g protein
- 26g fat
- 250mg calcium
- 115mg sodium
