Passion Fruit-Banana Smoothie
Note: This recipe, created by Sakari Clendinen of the U.S. Virgin Islands, won a national contest and was served at a White House lunch for kids. Get a cold blast of fruity-creamy goodness with her Passion Fruit-Banana Smoothie. (If you try this recipe, get a grownup's help because it requires using a knife and the blender.)
Prep time: 15 minutes
What you need:
- 8 passion fruits, seeded and flesh removed
- 4 bananas, peeled
- 2 cups fat-free plain Greek-style yogurt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 8 ice cubes
Equipment and supplies:
- Measuring cups and spoons
What to do:
- In a blender, combine the passion fruits, bananas, yogurt, honey, and ice cubes.
- Blend until smooth.
