My girlfriend and I were having sex and the condom broke. We immediately went to the pharmacist to buy Plan B but we didn't have the money. Is there anything we can do?

It's frustrating when you take all the right precautions and things still go wrong. It might help to check with your local health clinic, like Planned Parenthood, or with an STD clinic. They may provide Plan B at a lower cost than drugstores, and some may even offer it for free. Ask for payment options, and let them know your situation.

All couples who have sex should be tested for STDs, but this is especially true if a condom has broken (or if a couple doesn't use a condom).
